Having Fun in Wisconsin

Make your assignment a memorable one by taking time out to visit some of Wisconsin’s top attractions:

Cheese Tour
Wisconsin produces more than 35 percent of all cheese made in the United States. Much of it is made in small, family-owned and operated cheese factories that specialize in award-winning varieties. Visitors are welcome. Many factories also have a retail outlet so you can sample the cheeses, send some as gifts or take some home.

Chazen Museum of Art
Chazen Museum of Art, located in Madison, houses sculptures, painting, textiles and pottery from ancient times to modern day. Past exhibitions have included Japanese art, still life, water colors and paperwork.

A Day at the Beach
Wisconsin provides great access to the Great Lakes shoreline. This makes it a great place for fishing, boating, surfing or just relaxing on the beach. Beaches include Black River Public Beach, Terrace Beach, Silver Lake Beach, Half Moon and Lions Beach.

Birdwatching
If you are a nature lover, there are birdwatching hotspots throughout Wisconsin. Hundreds of birders travel all over the state in search of rare bird sightings. You will delight in all kinds of feathered friends from hummingbirds to owls, from eagles to nuthatches.

Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary
The Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary is a beautiful 700-acre urban wildlife refuge.  It is one of the largest Wildlife Rehabilitation sites in Wisconsin and is also Green Bay's largest city park. The Sanctuary is open to the public year round with no admission fee. There’s something for everyone, with 6 miles of trails, picnic areas and Bay Beach Amusement Park nearby.
